Interactive models and side projects, mostly built with AI coding tools. Each one runs in your browser, no install, and the data and models behind it are open to inspection.
Bruins vs Canadiens v0.30
A 5-on-5 hockey engine, not a scripted animation. Real 2025-26 rosters rated from MoneyPuck data, skating calibrated to NHL EDGE tracking, and an expected-goal model fit on two seasons of shots that scores every attempt by distance, angle, type and the shooter's finishing. Line changes, fatigue, officials and the rulebook are modeled. Pick each team's systems mid-game and grade the results against how the real teams played.
Play Review v0.5
A real Bruins game, every shot scored by expected goals against the best pass the model saw from the same spot, with a replay of the seconds before and after each one. Built from the NHL play-by-play and shift chart, the sim's systems and the same expected-goal model. Positions are inferred and the movement is a reconstruction, and the page says so. First step toward counterfactual play review.
